I have actually been motivated to get a lot done this past week, so there wasn't as much time for writing about it!
I attribute the boost in energy to both the weather and the book I'm reading. The weather is cold and crisp in the mornings, into the 60s or higher during the afternoons. The book is You Can Farm by Joel Salatin (who by the way is practically our neighbor, just one county between us!).
I am hoping that the inspiration will last all the way through the winter and into the spring when there is more of a workload!
Another less positive force of motivation is reading about the (leaked) IEA's report on the rate of depletion of the world's 400 largest oil fields. If you're interested, you can find out more about it here, here, or here. There is definitely controversy over the reporting of the findings as well as the report's implications, but I think the underlying significance is mammoth, regardless of your take on what it will mean.
